Shipping Your Motor Vehicle to France

Moving your household goods to France

Before moving to France, if you are not an EU citizen, you are required to have a visa to live and work there. An online application and declaration, Transfer of Residence application (ToR1), must be completed prior to importing your household goods.

France Customs Service
