Can my car be shipped to Peru?
Yes it can, as long as you are a returning citizen and have lived outside Peru for at least 4 years, it will be duty and tax-free. One vehicle is allowed to be imported duty-free if the value does not exceed the amount authorized by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and its engine does not exceed 2,000 cc. Your car also has to have less than 80,000 km on it, and be less than 5 years old.

Is there duty and tax that I must pay for my household goods when moving to Peru?
As long as you are a citizen of Peru, are returning to the country and have lived outside of Peru for at least 4 years before moving back, you may import your goods duty free provided you become eligible by SUNAT under the “Ley de Incersion Economica”. Provided your household goods arrive either 1 month before your arrival or no more than 4 months after your arrival in Peru, no duty or tax will need to be paid.
Am I able to pack my belongings myself?
No, you can not. Household goods shipment must not contain items marked.
Am I able to have my container delivered directly to my home in Peru?
Yes, provided the streets are wide enough and there is vehicle access to your home.
